The features of sugar beet polygerm seed populations were studied. The ways of creation of combinationaluable pollenizers line –– component hybrid on sterile base were improve. The environment conditions had influenced on reaction of different types of genic interactions in specific sets of hybrids. The positive effects of interaction is a part of heterosis effects. It is proved that plasticity and stability effect depend on environment condition where genotype realization occurs.

The features of sugar beet polygerm seed populations were studied. The ways of creation of combinationaluable pollenizers line –– component hybrid on sterile base were improve. The conditions for creating active collection of genetic material of sugar beets and coffee chicory by using the method of temperature limitations for in vitro culture are defined. It is proved that the temperature rate in culture rooms at 10 degrees Celsius ensures storing of sugar beets for ten months and chicory for eight months without transplanting.

Such varieties of winter wheat as Ovidium, Kokhana, Blago, Maria, Andromeda possess high adaptive potential, there are possible to use on irrigated and unirrigated lands. The monotypic “bulbilliferous hyphomycete” genus Taxomyces was erected in 1993 for a fungal endophyte isolated from the Yew tree Taxus brevifolia and named Taxomyces andreanae. This fungus was reported to produce the plant-derived anti-cancer drug taxol. The original description of the fungus was not conclusive as to its taxonomic position because no sporulation or other salient morphological features were reported. Consequently, the taxonomic affinities of this fungus have remained obscure. However, a full genome sequence of this strain was generated by a German research group in 2013, in an unsuccessful attempt to detect the biosynthesis genes encoding for taxol. This prompted us to search for phylogenetic marker genes and compare those with the data that recently have become available from state-of-the-art polyphasic taxonomic studies. Surprisingly, the strain turned out to belong to the phlebioid clade of wood-destroying Basidiomycota as inferred from a comparison of its partial ITS, the 28S rDNA (LSU), the RNA polymerase II largest subunit (rpb1), the RNA polymerase II second largest subunit (rpb2), and the translation elongation factor 1-α (tef1) sequences. A multi gene genealogy based on these loci revealed that the closest relative is Ceriporiopsis (syn. Mycoacia) gilvescens. Even though such wood-destroying Basidiomycota are regularly encountered among the endophytic isolates after surface-disinfection of plant organs, the vast majority of the reported endophytic fungi belong to the Ascomycota. Nevertheless, the data available now allow for synonymizing Taxomyces with Ceriporiopsis, and the necessary new combination is made.

By means of directed selection during 39 generations of Rye plants bearing the highest expression of short stem in combination with largest size of grain, a donor of dominant short stem and recessive complimentary or epistatic large size grain has been obtained. Dependence of Rye grain size on two complimentary or independent alleles of genes in homozygote state, namely lg (large grain) and tg (thick grain) has been first time reported. Short stem and recessive grain size donor is homozygotic by the characteristic “Short upper internode”, albeit hybridologic analyzes on dominance-recessivity has not been performed. Correlative analyzes to breeding purposes is only applicable to perform by determining relations between characteristics in generations. In order to process the breeding strategy phenotype and genotype variability shall be assessed in the source material, as well as coefficients of multiple and pair correlation of desired breeding characteristics. On the base of parameter indexes to develop plans of selections and directed crossings with predicting the disjointing results in the next and subsequent generations of hybrids and determine strategy and tactic of for the development of desired characteristics in breading. This is the only way from the art to the science.
