A technology of spring barley growing was described in the article, especially of its new varieties, provision of the brewing industry with high- quality malt through the diversification of planting areas and volumes of growing was explained, and establishment of the brewer’s barley market was described as well. Economical efficacy of the brewer’s and ordinary barley was calculated in order to provide a comparison.

Сорт Новинка скрещено с китайським сортообразцом Заря Востока, в результате получено некоторое количество кустовых ЛИНИЙ ТЫКВЫ С короткими стеблями. Изучение ЭТИХ ЛИНИЙ в F1-2 показало, что признак длина стебля у гибридов мускатной тыквы наследуется доминантно и коррелирует с фасциацией морфологических признаков. | З колекції вихідного матеріалу гарбуза мускатного виділено китайський сортозразок Зоря Сходу, який є генетичним донором для створення нових сортів з коротким стеблом. Сорт Новинка було схрещено з китайським сортозразком Зоря Сходу, внаслідок чого отримано ряд кущових ліній гарбуза з короткими стеблами. Вивчення цих ліній в F1-2 показало, що ознака довжини стебла у гібридів мускатного гарбуза успадковувалася домінантно і корелює із фасціацією морфологічних ознак.
