The cattle louse Linognathus vituli (Linne, 1758) was found to occur in the whole Bikaner Division of the Rajasthan State of India throughout the year. The parasite was generally more numerous on calves than on adult cattle. The incidence of infestation was found to be maximum in spring; the intensity of infestation was maximum in winter and minimum in summer
