Zoohygienic investigations were done in two types of cowsheds for fatstock on a state farm "S" in winter and summer 1977. The investigations were carried out in Opole type building with walls made of brick and Bialystock type building with walls made of wooden elements. Once a week in January and February and also in July and August the following physical and chemical properties of air were examined: temperature, absolute and relative humidity, speed of air movement, cooling and CO2, NH3 and H2S concentrations
