Supplementation of P, Co and Na were given as diammonium phosphate (DAP), Cobalt bullet and NaC1 respectively. Feeding DAP significantly depressed appetite, body weight and digestibility coefficients of ash and energy. Average daily dry matter intake of P, Co, Na supplemented and control groups were 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 and 2.8 respectively and the average body weight gain for the groups were 7.4, 37.0, 39.4 and 29.8 kg respectively. No significant differences were recorded in plasma mineral concentration between treatments. Supplementation of DAP increased plasma P concentration from 9.85 to 13.36 mg/100mg after four weeks of trial. Plasma vitamin B12 was increased from 170 pg/ml to 350 pg/ml in the Co-supplemented group after eight weeks
