Sero-identification is widely accepted as a tool to differentiate animal meats, but it requires long time to apply and lacks sensitivity and specificity. Therefore it was planned to develop counter-immunoelectrophoresis test to identify different meats not only with utmost sensitivity and specificity but also in a short time
