Seroprevalence of brucellosis in horses in Iraq

Sero-prevalence of brucellosis on 393 sera of horses in Iraq has been studied and it has been found to be 16.28% by Rose Bengal Plate agglutination test. Besides, a comparative efficacy of standard tube agglutination, Rose Bengal Plate agglutination and Mercaptoethanol inactivation test was evaluated on these sera and variations in the difference of equine immuno-globulins with those of bovine have been discussed in the present study
