This study was carried out to investigate the growth rate, the age and body weight at puberty during the growing period in Korean native cattle (K) and Charolais crossbreed (CK). 14 Korean native bulls or heifers and 14 CK were allotted to two nutritional levels (Standard level and Low level groups based on the NRC) during the experimental period. The growth rate of CK was 28%-55% faster in bulls and 33%-26% in heifers than that of K (P0.01)
