Yield and quality evaluation of AVRDC [Asian Vegetables Research and Development Center, Taiwan] processing tomatoes

Results of on yield evaluation are as follows: C12784-1-1-4 produced best in Tgaytay City with yield of 27.7 tons/ha; C127841-2-5-2 produced best in Trece MartLaguna with yield of 28.5 tons/ha and C122784-1-1 in Sta. Cruz,Laguna with yield of 28.5 tons/ha and C12784-1-1 in Sta. Cruz, Laguna, with 17.7 tons/ha. Monthly planting in Cavite showed that November planting produced the highest mean yield, 34.3 tons/ha. Quality evaluation showed that C12784-1-1-2 has the lowest pH of 4.12 while highest solid content (7.6%) was observed in C12784-1-2-5-2. All entries exhibited intense red pigmentation except C12815-1-17
