Reponse of corn (var. macapuno) to varying levels of Sagana 100 and urea under DMMSU conditions [Philippines]

Application of 4 to 8 bags Sagana 100/ha produced significantly broader stems and heavier husked corn ears than the control. Broader stem diameter, heavier husked corn ears,higher grain yield/ear and computed yield/ha was observed from all plants fertilized with urea. Highest net income was obtained from 90 kg N/ha treated plants. There was no significant interaction between the levels of Sagana 100 and urea in all the parameter used
