Frequency of fungicide application did not affect the number of seedlings that survived at 15, 30 and 45 DAS. Three fungicides: Manzate, Maneb and Dithane M-45 registered the highest count of surviving seedlings at 15 DAS: 179-84; 163.00 and 161.45 in that order. However, at 30 and 45 DAS, Ridomil was found to be the most effective (89.25 and 79.12 seedlings survived)
