Chemical control of Cercospora leaf spot of mungbean

Bayleton 25% WP at concentration of 62.5, 125.0 and 187.5; Baycor at 90, 180 and 270 gram ai/ha were evaluated against Cercospora leaf spot with Benlate as standard chemical. The results showed that fungicide treatments at different concentrations effectively controlled the disease. Disease severity was effectively reduced and the number of pods and weights of harvested seeds from chemically treated plots were considerably increased as compared to those of the control
