A comparative study was done on the evaluation of a single cell dose of three anthelmintic drugs, namely: Parbendazole (Verminum), Dichlorvos (Atgard) and DL-tetramisole (Tetrasole) using sixty weanlings as subjects. Results showed that 7 days after medication, all anthelmintic drugs gave a 100% reduction of all species of nematode ova. Results with Verminum showed a higher percentage of efficacy as less egg counts were observed during the 1st to 49th days post-treatment. Verminum was found to be the most effective anthelmintic against gastrointestinal nematodes in swine among the three drugs used
