Evaluation of utility of bruised rye variously treated for fatteners

The bruised rye was dehulled or steamed or fermented after the treatment had been carried out. Effects on digestibility, production results, slaughter quality and changes in anatomy and pathology were examined. Experiment was realized on 93 pigs in 6 groups. Obtained results showed that participation of bruised rye in diet can reach up to 60%. Dehulled seeds had an effect on content of digestible nutrients and production results
