Studies were conducted on Rhizobium strain Pe, P5, P15, P16, P18 and P24, P26 and P28 inoculated in yard long bean var. KU.7 and grown in vermiculite medium. The number of nodules, height and dry weight of stem, root and nodules were recorded. The result showed that Rhizobium strain P16 had tendency to fix nitrogen more effectively than the others
