When 50% of the maize-grain component of the diet was replaced by triticale, growth rate, feed efficiency and carcass yield of chickens were the same as with the all-corn diet. However, growth was reduced when triticale replaced maize completely. Feathering was reduced with increasing proportion of tritricale in the diet, and the carcass was white when triticale was the sole grain in the diet
