Decay control of oranges by fruit coatings

The inoculated orange fruits that were coated did not show any decay in storage up to 20 days. Then the decay started slowly. In control fruits without coating, the decay appeared within 10 days. All the four fruit coatings applied on orange fruits effectively controlled the fungal decay at higher concentrations of 0.02 and 0.04. At 0.01 concentration they were less effective
