Relative importance of proximate constituents for predicting the DCP and TDN through prediction equations is described. Forage crop differences for proximate constituents, DCP, TDN, dry-matter intake (DMI/100 kg body weight) and dry-matter digestibility (DMD) were significant (P0.01).
