Comparative efficacy of some insecticides against capsule borer on Sesamum

Results of the experiment revealed that all the insecticidal treatments significantly reduced the infestation of capsule borer during the three seasons. Pooled yield data indicated that the highest yield of 574.66 kg/ha was obtained from the plots receiving two sprays of 0.2% carbaryl as against 423.33 kg/ha obtained from untreated control plots
