Effect of planting dates and seeding rates on yield, yield components and other characters of two wheat cultivars (in Iraq)

This study was applied on two wheat cultivars (Maxipak and Abu Ghraib 3). Some of the results were: 1-The highest grain yield for maxipak cultivar was obtained by planting on (15/11) and seed rate (100) kg/ha. 2-The highest grain yield for Abu Ghraib 3 cultivar was obtained by planting on (15/11) and seed rate (120) kg/ha. 3-Cultivar Abu Ghraib 3 gave higher grain yield than Maxipak. 4-The grain yield has a positive significant correlation with the number of spikes per Square meter for both cultivars
