Effect of drying period and revolution per minute of thresher to different time of harvesting on germination and quality of malting barley

This study was conducted to investigate responses on grain breaking, germination and protein content, and grain yield at different time of harvesting, drying period and revolution per minute of thresher in malting barley "Sacheon No. 6". The results were obtained as the optimum harvesting time was 40 days after heading, and it was good to thresh malting barley with 500 - 700 r.p.m. after drying more than 2 days
