A mixture of 30% chopped rice straw of 5 mm long, 30% rice polishing and 40% liquid molasses could be wafered using a compression process with a volume ratio of 4:1. This was found acceptable in a feeding trial with Murrah buffaloes regardless of the degree of compression used. Solar drying improved the water durability
