Rodriguez, C.D. | Tran, L. | Lorenzana, O.J.
Four Trichogramma releases in an open field at Ilagan, Isabela were monitored during dry season (February 25, 1983-April 30, 1983) and six releases during wet season (August 2, 1983-October 6, 1983). Monitoring of corn borer eggs after the first releases (30 DAE) during dry season gave the highest parasitism of 78.5% and during wet season, the third monitoring after second releases gave also a high parasitism of 76.9% (43 DAE). Moreover, there was a reduction of 67.3% and 60.2% on larval population during the dry season and wet season, respectively. The number of perforations was also reduced at 71% and 58.7% during dry and wet season respectively
