Market of milk powder made of skimmed milk in the light of changes on the market of fodder and consumption protein

Since the mid-seventies the milk protein became the main item in exports from Poland. The author analyses the present state of market of fodder and consumption protein and factors influencing prices for milk protein on both markets. By quoting the examples of economically developed countries (USA, EEC) changes are shown for both markets, brought about by processes of protein substitution. On this ground there are evaluated production and export outlooks for milk powder
