The first results of computations of the optimum arrangement of storage yards allow to expect considerable savings in materials handling. Reduction of work layouts on preparatory operations required for determination of initial data, should be focused on the average values method for unitary squares having 100 m side. This method enables both reduction of manual work and of computer work time. Moreover one should increase number of the investigated drainage objects and compare the computed transportation demand with the true value. (Author)
