The size of vegetation area and canopy and maize hybrid interaction have an increasingly significant effect respectively, while inheritance basis has a much more significant effect, but in a reverse direction. Variations in concentration of some grain components increase with decrease of their contents, except for mineral elements content. Differences among hybrids, regarding grain yield, starch and cellulose content, grow bigger with decreasing vegetation area and increasing plant canopy. Starch, protein, cellulose and oil content in grain, put together, is in reverse proportion with the yield quantity, but the yield quantity is significantly influenced only by protein content.
