AA and GA have influenced the yield components, viz., branch and inflorescence number per plant and pod number per inflorescence thereby increasing the grain yield significantly. GA at 100 ppm recorded the highest per plant inflorescence number, 5.40. GA stimulates both vegetative and subsequent reproductive growth. NAA seems to be less effective in increasing the number of branches
