The investigated soil of the Velikpolanske plane, valleys of the rivers Jasenica, Kubrsnica, Veliki Lug and Milatovica (Yugoslav2048ia) has a deranged water-air regime and its mechanical composition is heavy. Causes for the soil over-humidity are precipitation, waters from higher terrains, infiltration and flooding waters running from the river courses in times of high water level, and underground waters, to a lesser degree. The soil is used extensively, mostly as meadows and less as fields. The achieved yields are very low. Negative water effect could be eliminated by building the system for drainage and applying suitable measures of agricultural engineering.
