Simple correlation, multiple correlation and regression among nine quantitative characters in the wheat variety Inia 66 were estimated from a set of 90 randomly selected plants grown in a randomized block design. The study was done to find out the strength, nature and direction of associations among the characters. Grain yield showed significant positive correlations with plant height, ear length and number of grains/ear. Grain yield was significantly dependent on eight other characters, and this dependence was attributable to the influence of plant height and number of grains/ear.
