Somatic cell count of the crude milk

Examinations were carried out to determine the somatic cell count in milk of cows kept on energy and fibre deficient rations. Influence of parities were also studied. Altogether 50 cows were involved in the experiments. Deficient energy and fibre supplementation and increasing number of parity rose the somatic cell count of the raw milk.
