Further evaluation of various insecticides for control of the coffee leaf miner, Leucoptera coffeella (guer.) and their effects on the coffee berry borer, Hypothenemus hampei (Ferr.)
1987

The granular systemic insecticide, carbofuran, consistently reduced populations of the coffee leaf miner (Leucoptera coffeella) to below economically important levels at four experimental sites. Although endosulfan was the most toxic insecticide to the coffee berry borer (Hypothenemus hampei) it had no significant effect on leaf miner populations, while both endosulfan and carbofuran significantly reduced berry borer populations and the resulting bean damage
