This study intends to determine the viability of setting a fully integrated intensive aquaculture system for Salton Sea Area in Southern California [USA]. The proposed project advances the prospect of developing prawn producing fishpond modules for the market of prawns in Southern California. Part 1 of the study is the U.S. shrimp industry itself and Part 2 intends to find out how feasible the proposed project in terms of marketing, technical and financial.
