The test was conducted at Ilagan Experiment Station [Isabela, Philippines] from 1981 dry season to 1983 dry season to determine the most effective and economical insecticide for the control of corn borer and corn earworm. Results revealed that the application of either Furadan 3G (2x or 3x), Basudin 5G (3x); or Sevin 85S, Brodan and Decis 2.5 EC (2x) is effective and economical for the control of corn borer.
