The scope of LLDA's [Laguna Lake Development Authority, Philippines] water quality management program and the strategies by which pollution regulatory measures are operationalized are discussed. Nine lake and 21 river sampling stations are monitored monthly for water quality while waste discharges are monitored from pollution sources. The ultimate objective is to set up water quality criteria to meet the lake's uses as industrial municipal water supply, irrigation water and fishery medium.
