Populations of Panonychus ulmi in apple and plum orchards and on several cherry and sour cherry cultivars in laboratory were investigated in vegetative periods 1974-77. Different attractiveness of host plant in different parts of vegetative period suggests dependence on varying chemical composition of the plant
