Carnalite from Klodawa can increase the rank of grasslands in feeding ruminants
1988
Doboszynski, L. (Instytut Melioracji i Uzytkow Zielonych, Falenty (Poland))
Information about results of the works on usability of the carnalite-kiserite fossil as fertilizer for grasslands is given. Positive results were obtained suggesting that owing to the potassium content this fossil would contribute to a growth of yields of dry matter of plants. Sodium and magnesium contained in this fossil leads to an increase of these elements in the vegetation enabling to liquidate their frequent deficiencies. Also other features of the above mineral as a fertilizer are discussed
