Hematocrit, erythrocyte and leukocyte numbers, hemoglobin level and total protein, glucose, cholesterol, free fatty acids and triglyceride content in blood of 1, 2 and over 2 years old nutrias were determined. The significant effect of sex on blood free fatty acids concentration and of the age on the other traits except of total protein content in blood of nutria was stated
