The results of artificial insemination (AI) of 62 blue fox females, 57 of which, inseminated with silver fox semen, were analysed and compared with mating results at the same farm. The conception rate in AI females was 57.8 percent and in mated ones 70.5 percent, the number of services per conception - 4.6 and 4.2, resp. the average crossbred litter size - 7.7 live born kids
