The paper presents some data on the dynamics of organochlorine (DDT and HCH) pesticide residues in the irrigated soils in the Burnas Plain and the alluvial plain of the Danube river. Also the content of the organochlorine pesticide residues (HCH and DDT) in ground water and drainage water is presented.
