The achieved results have shown that halfbreeds are similar to lambs of Tsigai breed regarding body mass. This proves that crossing combination of Romanov and Tsigai breeds is favourable since greater fertility and greater body weight of lambs at birth than with the Romanov breed has been achieved. It had an effect upon average daily gain of lambs during breeding which was significantly higher (P is less than 0.001) in halfbreeds than in lambs of the pure Romanov sheep.
