The effect of treatment (various modes of feeding and systems of nutrition, mostly) upon the protein content in milk in significant. After the 2nd lactation, the protein content decreases linearly. The highest percent of proteins in milk during standard lactation is with heifers in winter, and the lowest with heifers in April, October and November. With the increase of the number of cows of the Holstein-Friesian breed, a tendency of increasing the protein percent in milk has been observed. The first-calvers have the highest percent of proteins in milk with the 1st calving, at the age of 24-29 months. The effect of bulls (fathers) is significant.
