[Study on the density and distance between the plants that must be preserved when sowing the "Sukthi" variety white onion]

The study is carried out on the "Sukthi" variety which is also the most advanced type in Albania. Six different sowing intervals were experimented with in which the number of plants differed from 22 to 26/m2. Best results were secured by sowing the plant in rows 20 x 10 cm with a density of 500.000 plants per hectar getting a harvest in the last three years of 108.8, 35 and 79% respectively more than from the density of 30 x 15 cm. The 20 x 10 cm sowing density though with some influence on the biometric indices, is more economical. For other chemical indices, this density is insignificant
