Comparative studies on growth and yield attributes of four cultivars of Sweet gourd (Cucurbita moschata)
1989
Rahman, M.A. | Alamgir, A.N.M. | Khan, M.A.A.
Four cultivars of sweet gourd grown in experimental field showed variations in growth, sex expression yield and some biochemical aspects. The length of vine, number of nodes and leaves were highest at CC1. The number of female flowers and yield were significantly higher in CC1, CC3 and CC4 than CC2. The highest yield was with CC3 where the number weight, diameter and circumference of fruit were higher than the rests. N P K analysis revealed that only N content of leaf was maximum at CC2.
