Input and output analysis for testing nine small watersheds in middle reaches of Yellow River

Recently, under the guidance of selfreliance as a main way and support from state as additional, the government has provided a special fund for a number of small watersheds especially chosen, and thus significant social benefits have been gained. A comprehensive analysis of the roles of input sourced from state, local authorities and residents, such as accelerated soil conservation, increased agricultural productivity and income of the residents, as well as several factors influencing the input per unit area, was carried out in this paper.
