Tomato growth and seed production in relation to some macro and micro-nutrients application [Egypt]

Fertilized tomato plants with 1:2:1 NPK formula (300 ammonium sulphate 21% N: 600 superphosphate 15.5% P2O5:100 potassium sulphate 50% K,O kg/fed.) gave the maximum value of plant height and dry weight of stems. Fertilization of tomato plants with 1:2:1 NPK formula with foliar spraying of B + Zn produced the longest tomato plant height. Spraying tomato plant with B at 30 ppm increased dry weight of tomato plant doubling N or P in the fertilizer ratio increased tomato seed yield. Spraying tomato plants with B or B + Zn significantly reduced the germination percentage. Increasing P amount in NPK formula caused an increment in the weight of 1000 seeds.
