The vomero-nasal organ was present ventrally on either side of the rostral part of Septum nasi and opens rostrally on the dorsomedial aspect of Ductus incisivus. The caudal blind end reached the level of the third cheek tooth. The rostral part was lined by stratified squamous non-keratinized epithelium which changed caudally into pseudostratified columnar on the dorsolateral side, while it became of the olfactory type on its ventromedial aspect.
