Feher, T. (Kerteszeti es Elelmiszeripari Egyetem, Kecskemet (Hungary). Kerteszeti Foiskolai Kar)
Experiments were carried out between the years 1984-88 with herbaceous cultivated and weed species belonging to family Solanaceae (paprika, tomato, tobacco, egg-plant, pelargonium, black nightshade and datura) by grafting on one another. It was stated that edge-shaped grafting and the fixing technology worked out by us are suitable. We have produced paprika, tomato, egg-plant, pelargonium scions grafted on aggressive frost- and pest resistant rootstock (weed) root-system.
