[Leaf blade anatomy of Trisetum, Deschampsia and Peyritschia (Graminae: Pooidea) and their taxonomical implications]

Eigth species of Deschapsias, the genuss Peyritschia, and the Mexican species of Trisetum were compared with respect to their leaf blade anatomy. On the basis of the similarities in internal and epidermal leaf blade structure and the absence of important morphological differences, the genera Tristum and Peyritschia are united, and Deschampsia is maintained.
