This study determined which action program grouping (individual, individuals-group-as-one, or the family) generated more involvement from the family and its members in action program implementation, higher level of success of action program implementation, and better sociopsychological benefits afforded the individual trainee. The last two variables made up the overall training benefit. Findings showed that family level action program grouping differed from the individual level in degree of family involvement it generated and in the sociopsychological benefits afforded the respondents. Strong relationship was found between the degree of family involvement in action program implementation and overall training benefit, particularly in the level of success of action program implementation.
