Biochemical profile of blood in growing pigs

An investigation on 88 Polish Landrace pure breed pigs in 14 and 42 days of life was carried out. The decrease of alkaline phosphatase and the increase of acid phosphatase, lactate dehydrogenase, aldolase, alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase activity in blood plasma was stated. The increase of the hematocrit, erythrocytes, haemoglobin and protein content in piglet blood during this time was observed
